Pre-Order Policy
Introduction
This policy outlines the terms and conditions of pre-ordering, including payment requirements, delivery timelines, cancellation options, and customer responsibilities.
1. Pre-Order Eligibility
Customers who wish to place a pre-order must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide a valid government-issued identification (ID).
- Have a valid email address and phone number for order confirmation and delivery updates.
- Provide a valid payment method (credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods).
2. Placing a Pre-Order
To place a pre-order, customers must:
- Be present at the 518 Yonge St Store front.
- Select the desired product.
- Complete the in-store checkout process, including providing billing and/or shipping details.
- Agree to the pre-order terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
- Submit payment for the pre-order, either in full or a deposit, depending on the product or promotion.
3. Payment Terms

Full Payment or Deposit/Down Payment: When placing a pre-order, customers may be required to pay the full price of the product or an upfront deposit/down payment, depending on the product type or promotional offer. Any remaining balance, if applicable, will be charged upon shipment or according to the payment schedule.

Payment Method: Pre-order payments are processed using the payment methods specified on our website. If a pre-order is canceled, any deposits paid will be refunded in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Payment Confirmation: Once a pre-order is successfully placed, customers will receive a signed copy of the pre-order contract with the order details, expected delivery date, and any payment information.

Authorization of Payment: If the full payment is not required at the time of placing the pre-order, the deposit will be charged immediately, and the remaining balance will have to be paid at arranged product pick up date.
4. Expected Delivery Date

Delivery Timeline: The estimated delivery date for pre-ordered products will be provided at the time of purchase. Delivery times may vary based on product availability, manufacturing or shipping delays, and other external factors. Customers will be notified of any significant changes to the expected delivery timeline.

Availability Delays: If there is a delay in product availability or shipment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., production delays, shipping issues), we will notify customers as soon as possible with updated information. In such cases, we strive to fulfill pre-orders as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee the exact delivery date.

Partial Shipments: In some cases, if a customer orders multiple items and one item is on pre-order, we may ship available items separately. Additional shipping fees may apply for partial shipments.
5. Cancellation and Refunds

Customer Cancellations: Customers can cancel their pre-order at any time before the product is shipped. If the cancellation occurs before shipment, the customer will receive a full refund of any paid deposit or full payment, minus any applicable fees. Specific refund procedures may vary depending on the payment method and the product’s status at the time of cancellation. Payment are not refundable after the product is shipped.

Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel a pre-order if there are issues with product availability, payment problems, or if the customer does not comply with the terms and conditions of the pre-order. In the event of a cancellation by the company, customers will be fully refunded for any payments made.

Refund Processing: Refunds for canceled pre-orders will typically be processed within 2 business days, and the funds will be credited to the customer’s original payment method.
6. Product Changes and Substitutions

If such changes occur, we will inform customers promptly and offer the option to either continue with the order or cancel the pre-order for a full refund.

Substitutions: If a pre-ordered product is no longer available or has been discontinued, we will offer a similar alternative or allow the customer to cancel the pre-order and receive a full refund.

10. Miscellaneous Terms

Transferability: Pre-orders are non-transferable. The product purchased in a pre-order is intended for the customer who placed the order and signed the pre-order contract, and cannot be resold or transferred to another individual.

Legal Compliance: All pre-orders are subject to local laws and regulations. If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still apply.

Dispute Resolution: In case of any disputes arising from a pre-order, customers are encouraged to contact customer support to resolve the issue. If a resolution is not reached, the matter may be escalated for further action.
11. Upon Product Arrival
- Notification: After the product becomes available for pick up, Effibike Inc. will notify the customer for pick through phone call or email. After the products becomes available for pick up, Effibike Inc. will hold the product for one week for the customer to complete the remaining payment and pick up the product.
- Remaining payment due: The remaining amount for the full payment, if full payment not paid up front, will be required at the time of pick up. Failure to pay for the full remaining amount will result in serious breach of contract, Effibike Inc. has the right to not deliver the product to the customer in such case. If the payment is not paid within one week of the product arrival date, the contract will void and the product will become available for sell.
