What we are looking for!

Position: Salesperson (With Training in Mechanics)
Location: 518 Yonge St, Toronto, ON, M4Y 1X9
Employment Type: Part-time(with training) -> Full-time

 

About the Role:
Effibike is looking for an ambitious and customer-oriented Salesperson who is excited to grow with us! In this role, you will start as a salesperson, building relationships with customers and showcasing our innovative electric delivery bikes. Over time, we will provide specialized training to equip you with the skills needed to transition into a dual-role that includes e-bike assembly, maintenance, and repair.

This is a unique opportunity to develop expertise in both sales and technical support, helping you become a well-rounded professional in the fast-growing e-bike industry.

 

Key Responsibilities (Sales Phase):

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best e-bike solutions for their business or personal use.
  • Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on the features and benefits of bikes.
  • Process sales transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the team to support marketing initiatives and promotional events.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies, including campaigns, events, and social media outreach, to drive customer interest and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities (Mechanic Training Phase):

  • Participate in hands-on training to learn e-bike assembly, maintenance, and repair.
  • Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform quality checks and ensure bikes are in excellent condition before delivery.
  • Gain knowledge of e-bike motor systems, batteries, and components to provide technical advice to customers when needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales in English speaking environment, preferably in the cycling, automotive, or related industries.
  • Fluent in Bangla/Bengali and English, Hindi is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.
  • Willingness to learn about e-bike mechanics and commit to training.
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability, cycling, or innovative transportation solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic experience in mechanics is a plus.
